Play Tirana! is a city game that simulates the development of a multimodal station for Tirana. Play the City, Balkan in de Polder and Polis University are initiating partners. Participants include Municipality of Tirana, Co-PLAN, Belgrade University, Anhald University local investors and developers from Tirana.
The results of an international competition are tested by generating future scenarios through play. What happens on a self-built semi-urban area after such a mega development, a multimodal station, arrives? Would the mafia kick in? Would the municipality get more strict? Would high density be inevitable? Who would defend the public space?
